We suggest that you take a backup of your OSC Shop database at frequent intervals, dependant upon how often you update it.
To perform a backup, log into your OSC admin panel.
1) Go to Tools > Database Backup.
2) Select the option to use GZIP compression
3) Put a check in the box to Download only.
4) Click the back-up button and you will be asked where you would like to save the backup on your own PC. We suggest you create a folder specifically to store your backups.
In addition, you should keep a local copy of all product images, and your web designer should keep a copy of the Web site files, OSC files and template files.
