The dedicated Raq550 Servers use a graphical user interface to enable administration of web details and user control.
Logging On
Server Adminstration (top level control)
Go to http://yourservers URL/login
This may bring up a security warning. Click Proceed and then enter the Username and Password and select secure login for the administration account, when asked for them. This grants access to the server management panel, allowing you access to all the sites on the server. Selecting a site then takes you to the Site Administration panel. Any changes made by Server Administrators override settings made by Site administrators
Site Administration (Site level control)
Go to www.yourdomain/login
This may bring up a security warning. Click Proceed and then enter the Username and Password for the administration account, when asked for them. This will take you directly to the Site Management panel for you relevant site.

User preferences (User level control only) Go to www.yourdomain/login Enter the Username and Password for the user mailbox account, when asked for them. This will take you the User Properties panel.- Now go to Adjusting user properties toward the bottom of this page.
MAILBOXES The user management panel is used to set up and modify mail accounts. This grants access to users who have administration rights on the site.
To create an account, click Add.
The following list then sets up the mailbox:

Once done, Click Confirm New User. Repeat as many times as needed to set up the mailbox accounts.

IMPORTANT!! If you create your own mailboxes you are responsible for the usernames and passwords for those accounts. Record ALL of these details, as Swift Internet will not have them. |
Removing accounts
To remove users from the user management panel, simply click on the trashcan icon to the right of the account and confirm the removal.
Adjusting User Preferences
Server and Site Administrator level Access (Accessed by clicking on the edit button in the required account and selecting the email tab.) Site administrators, can modify mailboxes to forward incoming mail, allow greater mailing capacity and allow your mailbox to notify senders that you are out of the office.
Server administrators can peform this role for multiple sites.
Email forwarding: enter target email to route messages to it. Email aliases: Users can set multiple email addresses to one mailbox. Vacation message: To inform senders when you are away from your desk

User level Access (Via log in to www.domainname/login then select personal profile) Users, with no admin rights, can edit email forwarding and vacation messages, but not email aliases or disk quotas.

Other functions for the Server/ Site Administrator (via Management)
- Usage Information.
Usage statistics are switched on by default. Reports and charts are found in the Usage Information option
- General Settings (view only for site administrators)
Allow you to see what functions are enabled for your site. To alter them you need to be a server administrator.
- Services
Allows designation of a specific mail account to become the "catchall" mailbox.
- Import/ Export
The user settings can be backed up
- FTP and SSL settings(view only for site administrators)
