The dedicated Raq550 Servers use a graphical user interface to enable administration of web details and user control. The following FAQ details the creation of a site on the server, which is an option available to SERVER administrators only.
Logging On
Server Adminstration (top level control)
Go to http://serversURL/login
This may bring up a security warning. Click Proceed and then enter the Username and Password and select secure login for the administration account, when asked for them. This grants access to the server management panel, allowing you access to all the sites on the server.

You will be faced with the following panel. Select Site Management.

You now have access to the site directory. You may now start to add virtual sites:

Clicking Add brings up the following control panel. Fill in the fields as per your site requirements:

Once you have set the specifications, click save to create the site.

Either specify an IP address or use server default |

Usually www and then specify your domain. |

Web server alias |
Specify web addresses that will lead to this site (eg www.domain.suffix and domain.suffix, as well as www.aliasdomain.suffix |

Specify the addresses used to get mail (eg domain.suffix) |

Catchall email address |
Specify a mail account to be the mail "catchall" |

Maximum allowed disk space |
Specify the total disk allocation for the site (MB) |

Maximum allowed number of users |
Total number of users allowed for the site |

Automatic DNS configuration |
If the server is running it's own DNS, this option creates the primary site records automatically. |

Anonymous FTP |
Activate anon. FTP and specify disk allowance for it - ensure the value is less or equal to the site disk limit. |

Enable JSP and Servlets |
Activate "Tomcat" Java script support for site |

Enable ASP |
Activate "Sun One" Active Server Page support for site |
| Enable PHP scripting |
Activate PHP script support for site |
| Enable common gateway interface |
Activate CGI-BIN script support for site |
| Enable server side includes (SSI) |
Activate SSI support for server based applications |
| Enable Front Page Extensions |
Activate Front Page script extensions and uploading support. This requires a password to be specified. Front Page sites should NOT be accessed by regular FTP. |
| Enable APOP |
Activate secure POP3 mail. Ensure your mail client supports it. |
| Enable Shell Access |
Allow site telnet or SSH client access to command line. Telnet access is NOT recommended. |
| Enable SSL |
Activate secure server space. Needs unique IP address. |
