| How do I Setup or add POP mail boxes to Outlook Express - PC with Windows ? |
This guide covers E-mail configuration for two types of E-mail account. 1) The e-mail accounts for your Domain name. 2) The e-mail account which comes free with a SwiftServe dial-up account. If desired your may use multiple accounts on the same e-mail client, by repeating the steps for each mail account. Note that for both types of accounts, the details are case sensitive. Swift therefore recommends the use of lower case names only. - Open Microsoft Outlook Express
- Go into the Tools Section of Outlook Express
- Select Accounts.
- Click on the Mail tab.

- Then click on: Add, mail
- Your name: Enter Your name (e.g. Joe Bloggs, sales, info). This name will appear on the top of messages sent via this account. Once you are happy, click next

- Enter your internet e-mail address:
Notes on email addresses.
- Domain email users: name@yourdomain.suffix
- Swiftserve email users: anyname@name.swiftserve.net

- Mail server addresses are now required:

Notes on Mail server addresses Incoming mail:
- Domain email users: see your paperwork The incoming mail server address will be provided by Swift Internet (either mail.swiftinter.net , mail2.swiftinter.net , mail3.swiftinter.net or mail4.swiftinter.net and so on....).
- Swiftserve mail accounts should use pop.swiftserve.net
Outgoing mail:
| - Internet mail login details are then required

Notes on Login details Account Name: - Domain email users will use their mail box username
- Swiftserve email users will use their Swift dial up username (ie swi-????)
Password: - Domain email users will use their mail box password
- Swiftserve email users will use their Swift dial up password
| - Congratulations: Click on Finish.
Repeat if you need to set-up multiple POP boxes
