This FTP program allows the user to manipulate the files to and from the web site via a two window interface.
Upon entering the program Click
This will open the Connections windows.
- Select File
- Create to get the window below
- Enter the highlighted details below on the Site Specific tab

Select Connection. This opens the window shown below.
Passive mode: Modem users: Ensure that Passive mode is disabled, as it is not supported. In order to do this, select the overide option (next to Use Passive Mode). This then allows the user to disable passive mode.
ADSL with NAT: You may need to enable Passive mode - check with your vendor.

Initial Folders Selecting Initial folders enable the user to specify the folder that the FTP program will go to, both on the server and the user's PC.

For Server types 1 & 2 enter: /httpdocs (always enter in lowercase) Server Type 3 to 8 enter: /web (always enter in lowercase) Server Type 10 to 24 enter: /httpdocs Server Type 50 to 60 enter: /httpdocs

Finally, return the main menu, select Tools then choose General Properties. At the bottom of the options list is Dial Up. From here you can choose one of your existing dial up connections to use to connect.

Once the details are entered, click OK to preserve your settings. Ensure that your internet connection is running and then click File, Connect and double click on the site entry.
If log on is successful, the you will then be able to upload new items and manage your files on the server.
Important Note Your default page (Home Page) must be named index.html otherwise it will not automatically load upon entering the site. Please also note that the Server is case sensitive to file names, therefore we recommend that you always use lower case.
