How do I upload my web site to the server using FTP software CuteFTP version 4.x ?

The following instructions are for CuteFTP 4.2 and upward.

After installing CuteFTP, open it up. (If the 'Wizard' runs, then cancel the wizard.)
You should be presented with the FTP site manager window. If not click on File and select Site Manager.

Click on the New button to make a new entry, then give it a name.

When adding your site details to the FTP program, you will need to enter the information provided by Swift when your domain was set-up. Always use lowercase.

  • Site Label
Enter a friendly name of your choice for your site
