How do I upload my web site to the server using Macromedia Contribute (not Dreamweaver) ?

Open Macromedia Contribute and click the "create connection" button shown below, which will open the connection Wizard.
If you can't see the "create connection" button then Click Edit > My Connections, then click New.

Enter your name and your e-mail address as below, then click next

Enter the website address including http:// as shown below then click next

Enter the FTP connection information as supplied by Swift when your package was set-up. then click next.
Note: If you use a NAT router to connect to the Internet click Advanced, and select Passive FTP mode. If you use a Firewall enter the settings required by your Firewall.

Enter the Remote host folder address (see note below), then click next.

NOTE about Host Folder
For Server types 1 & 2 enter: /httpdocs (always enter in lowercase)
Server Type 3 to 8 enter: /web
(always enter in lowercase)
Server Type 10 to 24 enter: /httpdocs
Server Type 50 to 60 enter: /httpdocs

Check the below with your web designer as he may be the administrator. If you are the administrator, select Yes, then choose and enter a password for future access, then click next.

Complete the wizard, then Contribute should connect to your site.

It's worth mentioning if you have problems connecting, you should either disable any firewall software temporarily or configure it to allow Contribute software to access the Internet.
