How to send email using port 587 instead of port 25

There are two main reasons why you should use port 587 instead of port 25 to send email using authenticated SMTP.

1. Some Internet service providers such as AOL and Orange block access to 3rd party mailservers on port 25. As a result, you will need to send E-mail to our servers using "Authenticated SMTP" on port 587.

2. Some
Internet service providers provide dynamic IP address ranges which often appear on spam blacklists which prevent you from using port 25.

To change the outbound port from 25 to 587, first set authenticated SMTP using this FAQ: Setting the SMTP server (Outbound Mail Server address) in your e-mail settings
