Receiving the same e-mail multiple times, or running out of disk space on the server. (over quota)
This can often happen if your email software is set to keep a copy of the email on the server. What it should be doing is deleting the email from the server after it has been successfully downloaded.
Leaving a copy on the server can cause one of two problems:-
1. The mailbox can run out of space and stop functioning. 2. If large numbers of mail are left on the server, the email software on your computer may start receiving the same messages mutiple times.
How can I be sure my e-mail program is not leaving a copy of email on the mail server ?
