Installing the Net Lynx USB ADSL Modem
WARNING: DO NOT PLUG USB MODEM IN UNTIL THE SOFTWARE IS INSTALLED
1: Put CD in machine and allow it to run automatically
2: From the options screen, choose WAN (PPP0A, PPPoE) option

3: Wizard starts – click next to allow the files to install
4: When done, click finish. You may now need to reboot the computer.
5: Leave the CD in the machine.
Plug in the USB modem now.
6: Wizard starts – allow it to automatically find the best driver.
7: On Windows ME, 2000 and XP machines, you will get a warning about Microsoft driver signing. Ignore it and click CONTINUE ANYWAY.
8: The wizard will finish. Depending on the version of Windows you use, you may or may not need to reboot.
9: On the desktop you will have 2 icons – one if the “Access Runner Control Panel”. Go into it.
The control panel and line status will appear: The system will report a successful connection or "line down" - likewise the light on the USB modem will stay on if the ADSL line is working, and will will flash repeatedly if not connected.

10: Select "Protocol setup".
11: The VPI setting should be 0 (default). The VCI setting should be 38 (default). If not, alter them.
12: Using the drop down menu, change the Encapsulation method to:
PPP over ATM vcmux (RFC2364)

13: OK the settings
14: On the desktop the other icon is “Access Runner DSL” - select it.

15: Enter your ADSL username and password, click “save password” and click "Connect" (Or "Dial")
