Site Administrator and user level SPAM-Filter controls: Individual site administrators and users have the ability to view and modify the SPAMFilter settings of all users which they are responsible for: In this case the administrator of the virtual site and the users can view and/or edit their own SPAM-Filter settings.
Servers 3 to 7
Access your admin user or individual user panel by going to:
www.yourdomain/login and supplying the relevant username and password
Administrators and users will find the spam filter controls indicated by the magnifying glass on the user accounts table:

Selecting that will bring up the following options:

Servers 4 and 5
Access your admin user or individual user panel by going to:
SITE ADMINS: www.yourdomain/siteadmin and supplying the relevant details
USERS: www.yourdomain/personal and supplying the relevant details
Administrators will find their user accounts have an envelope with a cross through it on their panel. This is the option for the filter.

Selecting the option brings up the following options:

The Options Explained (for both types of server)
Required Hits: Specifies how many positive hits in regards to SPAM-typical phrases an email must have before it is reported as SPAM. The higher this value is, the less sensitive the filter reacts and the more SPAM will pass through it undetected.
Recommended value: 6.00 hits before reporting as spam
When the filter is disabled the value is raised to 900 hits
Whitelist From: Here you can specify which people are allowed to send you email that should never ever be tagged as SPAM. Valid inputs are complete or partial email addresses and domain names. Multiple addresses have to be separated by a colon, a space or a new line. The input field is very forgiving in that regards and will correct improper separation of email addresses. A wildcard (*) can be used like in the example above. As the example above indicates, email from *@mycompany.com will never be tagged as SPAM. Likewise any email which comes from user_a@mycompany.com or user_b@mycompany.com will never be tagged as SPAM.
Blacklist From: All email from the complete or partial email addresses and domains listed here will always be tagged as SPAM. Wildcards (*) are allowed.
Defang MIME: Defanging of MIME will make sure that SPAM which contains HTML code (and perhaps even Active-X or JavaScript) will be shown as a plain text email. That makes sure that no pop-ups or more malicious attachments are executed while you look at the email.
Terse Reports: Below a sample of a report when Terse Reports is set to NO: As you can see, this report is fairly long and precisely explains which SPAM typical features were found in this email and how many hits each of it individually accounted for. Expert users might prefer a shorter report which looks like this:
Filter Disabled: If a user decides he doesnt want any filtering of his inbound emails and no tagging of SPAM, then he can set this switch to NO. That will automatically increase the Required Hits for his mailbox to 900, which effectively disables the SPAM-Filter for this account.
Automatic deletion of SPAM: The function of this checkbox is pretty obvious and by default this switch is always set to NO. But any user who feels comfortable with the way the filter detects SPAM can enable the automatic deletion of emails. The disclaimer at the bottom of the page which explains the functionality in the GUI is hard to miss, so the implications (possible loss of legitimate emails) are explained.
It is recommended to leave this switch set to NO for a while and to examine how well you do with the standard Required Hits value of 6.00. You might have to add a few addresses to your Whitelist or might need to increase the value a little to suit your own needs before you decide to have your SPAM automatically deleted on the server.
